The atomic clock is updated daily via a radio signal transmitted from Fort Collins, Colorado, keeping this alarm clock accurate to within one second of official U.S. government time. The atomic clock even updates automatically for Daylight Saving Time and Leap Year.
The moon phase icon helps you gauge moonlight and tides for outdoor activities; a temperature trend arrow displays rising, falling or steady; and the wireless weather station calculates and displays a heat index reading based on outdoor temperature and humidity. The display's sturdy base is specifically designed for tabletop use.
The BAR688HGA is supplied with one THGR122N remote sensor and can monitor up to 3 sensors in total (additional sensor THGR122NX sold separately). The sensor has an effective transmission range of approximately 100 feet unobstructed.
